Published as "1 August" with no year, twice: the application-information page lists "Step 8 Submit final diplomas and certificates by 1 August", and the admissions-requirements page says Corvinus "accepts the following proof of English language proficiency (minimum equivalent B2 level) submitted no later than 1 August". This site assumes the 2027 intake. Comfortable for an IB candidate - the diploma is issued in early July - but it is the last gate before enrolment, and an offer is conditional on it.

What it is
The first year pairs communication with philosophy, economics, international politics, quantitative social research and persuasive and visual communication. Year two adds qualitative methods, media literacy, language in culture and society, data visualisation and digital marketing communication. Year three brings project and campaign communication, a compulsory internship and a thesis seminar. Teaching is project-oriented, with media studio work. You choose one of five specialisations: Public Communication, Business Communication, Global Connections and Communications, Community Communication or Global Social Challenges. Graduates work as media specialists, PR experts and social media managers.
What you need
- Decided on a 10-15 minute online interview (knowledge, skills, motivation); no maths or subject requirement. IB English SL 5 or HL 4 covers the English proof.

Every IB applicant at Corvinus
The IB Diploma is named as accepted: IB English SL 5 or HL 4 covers the English proof, and Maths SL 5 or HL 4 replaces the maths entrance exam. No GPA or subject minimum; admission is on exam or interview points.
How places are decided
- Scored out of 100 in a 10-15 minute Teams interview on motivation, verbal skills and career plans; the Dean sets a points threshold each year.
