What it is
The first year is built on anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, cell biology and histology, molecular biology and genetics, microbiology, public health and epidemiology. Later semesters turn to nursing in internal medicine, surgery and trauma, obstetrics, anaesthesiology, paediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, community care and oncology. Lectures are paired with clinical practice at the Petz Aladar County Teaching Hospital, and the final year centres on practice and a thesis you defend. Graduates work on hospital wards and intensive care, in outpatient care, general practice, hospices and care homes, or in healthcare centres, clinical research and pharmaceutical companies.
What you need
- No IB points rule: upload your IB results and course list, notarised or apostilled. English: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 66, or proof your schooling was in English; otherwise a language interview.
