What it is

You study botany, zoology, mathematics, economics, business law, international agriculture and safety at work, then professional subjects such as crop production, horticulture, plant protection, animal husbandry, animal nutrition and health, and farm business management. Practical work covers soil preparation, nutrient supply, seeding, plant protection and harvesting, and you choose from four options: agricultural economics, animal production, horticulture and plant production. The final semester is an internship at an agricultural company. Graduates work in agriculture and agribusiness, in production and management, or in companies that process and market agricultural products.

What you need

  • No IB rule: an online English written and oral entrance exam; science results from previous studies are considered.
