What it is
The programme trains you to create, develop, implement, operate and service IT systems, working alone and in teams. Degrees of this kind typically begin with programming, discrete mathematics, calculus, algorithms and data structures, then move on to computer architecture, operating systems, databases, networks and software engineering, and end with a thesis project. Graduates usually go into software development, systems administration and other IT roles, or on to a master's in computer science.

- No IB rule: B2 English proof and an online interview as the entrance exam.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at University of Szeged
IB Diploma can exempt you from the entrance exam: grade 5 in two HL sciences for medicine and dentistry, 4 for pharmacy, nursing, physio; Maths SL 4 or HL 3 for business. Predicted grades give conditional offers.
How places are decided
- Entrance exam is an online interview; B2 English proof, a motivation letter and a medical certificate are also required.
