What it is
The first two years lay the foundation of basic medical knowledge, and from the third year onwards regular clinical practice is added, with students working in the clinical departments of the teaching hospitals and treating patients under the supervision of physicians. The faculty's scientific laboratories also offer opportunities to get involved in research. In the final two semesters you rotate through the different medical specialties.

Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at University of Szeged
IB Diploma can exempt you from the entrance exam: grade 5 in two HL sciences for medicine and dentistry, 4 for pharmacy, nursing, physio; Maths SL 4 or HL 3 for business. Predicted grades give conditional offers.
How places are decided
- Online exam (written test, then oral interviews). IB Diploma with 5 in two HL sciences is exempt; predicted grades give a conditional offer. About 250 places a year.
