What it is
You split six semesters evenly between Milan and HEC Paris. The first year in Milan covers economics, comparative public law, politics and the public sector, quantitative methods for the social sciences, and coding and data visualisation in Python. Year two is shared: governance of digital technologies, social media and democracy and a deep learning module in Milan, then business analytics, European governance and behavioural and cognitive science at HEC. The final year in Paris adds climate change and sustainability, research methods, field work, a capstone project and a final paper. The mix prepares you for roles where data science meets the social sciences.

Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at Bocconi
Full IB Diploma, 24+ points with 12 at HL, TOK, EE and CAS passed; no subjects required. An IB in English meets the English rule. Predicted grades are not used.
How places are decided
- Earlier school grades, a test score (SAT 1040+, ACT 19+ or Bocconi test 17/50+), CV and motivation, and a video interview. Three rounds.
