What it is
You study ancient societies across the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Asia, combining social and anthropological analysis, work with source texts, and language and philology, with an eye on how cultures connect and differ. Classes run in a blended format between the Venice and Milan campuses, in person with live streaming and tutors supporting the remote classrooms, as the degree is shared with the University of Milan. Graduates look to museums, archaeological sites and exhibitions, cultural communication, and consulting for the entertainment industry on historical themes, while guiding tourists requires extra postgraduate training.
What you need
