What it is
The degree is interdisciplinary: political science and international relations, history and regional studies, international economics and economic geography, international law and global institutions, and sociology and social psychology. Core topics are diplomacy, conflict resolution, international development and global governance. Classes are small, with seminars and guest lectures from international scholars and practitioners, and you work on practical projects with international institutions and organisations. Milan is a European centre for diplomacy, media and NGOs, which helps with networking. Graduates look to diplomacy, policy analysis, development work and international cooperation.
What you need
- 31 points at the end of IB year 1 (predicted grades and bonus points not counted).
