What it is

The first two years cover the basics of economics, and the third year turns to economics and finance, with specific sub-fields of economics, econometrics and finance courses. In the second and third years you can choose elective courses in economics, economic history, business, law, statistics and mathematics. Graduates are prepared to work as junior economic and financial analysts, giving advice to private and public bodies on investment and funding plans, evaluating securities and assessing financial risk, or to move on to economic journalism or to master's studies in economics, finance and management. Labs, internships and fieldwork grants are available.

Full IB Diploma: 24+ points with 12 at HL, TOK, EE and CAS passed; ask the IB to send your scores. Each degree ranks you on its own test: mostly the SAT, some CEnT-S or TOLC-E.
