What it is
The five years move from chemistry, biology, anatomy and human physiology towards medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology and pharmaceutical technology, with added courses in bioethics, first aid, digital health and pharmaceutical and clinical care. The aim is to train pharmacists who can advise patients on medicines and health products such as cosmetics, food supplements and medical devices, take part in public health campaigns and act as a link between patient, doctor and health service. Internships and dissertation research abroad are possible. Graduates qualify as pharmacists after the state exam, or continue to specialisation schools, doctorates or second-level master's programmes.
