What it is
You study the biological processes that keep the human body working, how changes in them lead to disease, and how people and their environment affect one another, including the effects of human activity and global environmental change on health. Typical early courses in a biology degree include chemistry, genetics, cell biology, physiology and statistics, and advanced research methods are woven through the programme. The first two years are in Padua, then you take a Human Health path in Padua or an Environmental Health path in Bologna. Graduates go on to master's study in the biological and biomedical sciences.
What you need
- CEnT-S test. EU call one 9 March–9 April 2027.
