What it is

The first two years give you the basics: mathematics, programming and algorithms, and systems and information management, with software design and development. From the second year you add electives matched to your interests. Computer science is treated as a discipline between science and engineering, using scientific inquiry and rigorous engineering methods, and the degree is recognised by the Italian computer science professors' association and the national computing association. Typical early courses include calculus, discrete mathematics, programming, computer architecture, databases and operating systems. Graduates are prepared to design and develop software as an industry activity.

What you need

  • CEnT-S (in English), taken by 31 March in session 1, minimum 16/45; later sessions use TOLC-I (in Italian).

A school diploma valid for university entry; a school letter saying your studies were taught in English proves the B2 English. Every English degree has capped places and an admission test.
