What it is
Core study covers microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, accounting, finance and data analytics, supported by mathematics, statistics, marketing, business law and the history of economic thought. Case studies, business simulations and professional tools such as Bloomberg, SPSS and EViews bring theory into practice, and you can earn a Bloomberg Market Concepts certificate. Product development projects with researchers and business partners and an internship in semester eight complete the degree, and competency blocks let you add accounting and analytics, management, financial mathematics, languages, neuroscience or public governance. Graduates work as economists, consultants and data analysts in finance, government and business.
