Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Your main instrument or voice is taught in one-to-one lessons with professional jazz musicians, alongside ensemble work in big band, vocal ensemble and small groups, music theory applied to playing, piano skills for non-pianists, and a repertoire of jazz standards with melody, accompaniment and improvisation. You perform in public from the start, take masterclasses with guest musicians, join themed project weeks and studio recording projects, and can spend a third-year exchange at conservatories in Europe or America. Groningen offers De Oosterpoort and a local club circuit. Graduates build portfolio careers combining performing, composing and arranging, and teaching, or continue to the Master of Music New York Jazz.
