What it is

You study American society, politics, history, culture and language, including American literature, media and the arts, political institutions and the role of the United States in global affairs. Teaching is fully in English, with a strong focus on building written and spoken English at a professional level and on communication skills. Study abroad in the United States and internships are possible. The degree is a specialisation within the Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Culture at the Faculty of Arts in Nijmegen. Graduates work in international relations, education, journalism and other fields that value analytical and communication skills.

What you need

  • The IB Diploma is assessed individually against the Dutch VWO. English A SL/HL at 4+ or English B HL at 6+ covers English.

    • Everyone eligible is admitted
