Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The first year introduces Western philosophy through four courses on its history, plus systematic courses in political philosophy, ethics, metaphysics and philosophical anthropology and the philosophy of science, alongside four courses in academic skills and methods. Classes are interactive, and in years two and three you follow modules of three courses on themes such as global justice, human rights, digital technology and ecological challenges, finishing with a bachelor thesis. Most students continue to a specialised master, and graduates work in policy analysis, think tanks, journalism, government, consultancy and NGOs.
What you need
- The IB Diploma is assessed individually against the Dutch VWO. English A SL/HL at 4+ or English B HL at 6+ covers English.
