Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The first year covers calculus, linear algebra, mechanics and relativity, electricity and magnetism, mathematical physics, computational methods and two physics laboratory courses, with introductory electives such as astronomy, medical physics, nanophysics and quantum topics. You gain hands-on lab experience, learn to turn complex theory into practical solutions, and complete a bachelor research project, with study abroad as an option. Specialisations include Nanophysics, Particle Physics, Energy & Environmental Physics, Biophysics & Medical Physics and physics education, linked to research institutes for advanced materials, particle physics and energy. Graduates continue to a master such as Physics or Nanoscience and work in research, industry, consultancy, analytics or teaching.
