Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

Selection runs between 15 January and 15 April and every applicant receives a ranking number through Studielink. Indicative: Nuffic’s date, not the government’s.

Both Dutch deadlines fall well before this. How a conditional place pending results is handled is set by each institution; ask yours.

What it is
The first years cover biological, developmental, cognitive, social and cross-cultural psychology, personality and individual differences, the history of psychology, research methods and statistics, and professional methods such as test administration. You learn in small mentor-led groups, with research practicals in which you design and present studies, role-play exercises and a bachelor thesis on your own research project in year three. Professional areas include work and organisational psychology, clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology, and you can study abroad through a minor or join the honours college. Graduates continue to a psychology master or one in neurosciences, and work as psychologists, market researchers or organisational consultants.
What you need
- Numerus fixus, 250 places (English track): apply by 15 January 2027; a selection test plus a lottery rank applicants. No subject requirements; maths strongly advised.
