Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one introduces the study of language through courses on meaning, psychology of language, morphosyntax, sociolinguistics, phonetics, language development and digital tools. In year two you choose one of three clusters: Language and Society (taught in Dutch), Language and Cognition, covering psycholinguistics and acquisition, or Language and Computation, covering corpora, computational modelling and language models, alongside an integrated humanities track. Year three has a capstone course on research and writing, electives for one third of the programme, and a bachelor's thesis. You can do an internship, with past placements at dictionary and language institutes.
What you need
- Bilingual programme: year 1 is taught in English; from year 2 two tracks are in English and one (Taal en samenleving) is in Dutch.
