Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one covers literary history from antiquity to the present, close reading, cultural criticism and current theoretical debates such as affect theory and environmental criticism. In year two you choose a specialisation, Literature across Borders, with postcolonial, migration and ecological themes, or Literature in Conflict, covering banned books, contested memory and dissent, and join an integrated humanities track. Year three includes The Republic of Letters, on publishing, festivals and cultural careers, electives for one third of the programme, and a thesis. You can intern at publishing houses and cultural institutions in the Netherlands or abroad.
What you need
- The IB Diploma counts as equivalent to VWO. IB English A or B, SL or HL, meets every UU English level.
