Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is

Year one covers art and media, sustainability, cultural policy and AI, with courses such as Culture Wars, Historicising the Global and Fake News: Introducing the Human and AI. In year two you choose one of four majors: Curating the Past, Reimagining Sustainability, Culture and Social Justice, or The Human and Artificial Intelligence, and begin a thesis research lab. Skills courses teach academic writing, visual and digital literacy, archival research and interviewing. Year three brings electives, a minor and a thesis or final project, with internships possible in journalism, curating, theatre and research. Graduates work in museums, heritage institutions, archives and the wider cultural sector.

What you need

  • Full IB Diploma needed (IB courses alone are not accepted); English as an IB exam subject covers the English requirement.
