Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

Both Dutch deadlines fall well before this. How a conditional place pending results is handled is set by each institution; ask yours.

What it is
You use quantitative techniques to investigate and solve problems in economics, business and finance, from banking systems to healthcare resources. Year one covers calculus, programming, linear algebra, probability, macroeconomics and finance, with an introduction to the three specialisation areas. Year two goes deeper into econometrics, operations research and mathematical economics, with numerical methods, case studies and group projects. In year three you take a minor or study abroad, choose a specialisation in econometrics, operations research or mathematical economics, and write a thesis on a subject of your interest. Minors range from closely related fields to political science.
