Published as "Application deadline for all applicants to music performance programmes" on 15 December, with no year; this site assumes the 2027 intake. Two of UiA's four English-taught bachelor's are music performance degrees, so for them the deadline is December, not 1 March.

What it is

Performance on a classical main instrument, or two main areas across genres, with solo repertoire, orchestra, choir and chamber music, plus aural training, music history, analysis and music technology.

What you need

  • Audition on your main instrument plus aural and theory tests; a recorded audition and online tests are possible from abroad.
Requirements in full

Every IB applicant at University of Agder

The IB Diploma meets the entry requirement, and English at any grade that passes, SL or HL, covers English. The two music degrees add an entrance exam.
