What it is

This five-year course leads school leavers to the professional Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Teaching is built around hands-on work with patients, a medical simulation centre and a practical summer training placement, with basic science and clinical evaluations along the way. The degree opens routes to dental licensing in Europe and elsewhere, supported by guidance on national licensing and the legalisation of diplomas.

What you need

  • Biology, Chemistry or Physics HLThe IB rule: at least one of these three at HL.
  • Biology (SL or HL)Grades in biology plus chemistry or maths/physics are required (at least two, including biology).

Every IB applicant at Poznan University of Medical Sciences

IB holders need HL in Biology, Chemistry or Physics; places go on a 60-question science quiz and an interview. The English-test list does not name the IB, so ask admissions whether yours counts.
