What it is

The course leads to the Doctor of Medicine degree and combines clinical training, laboratory work and practice in a medical simulation centre, with practical training and electives built into the curriculum. Exams follow the NBME format, and a Kaplan Step 1 preparation course is offered. The university's clinical hospital serves as a teaching base. Graduates can follow routes to medical licensing in many countries, with guidance on residency placement and a postgraduate internship in English.

What you need

  • Biology, Chemistry or Physics HLThe IB rule: at least one of these three at HL.
  • Biology (SL or HL)Grades in biology plus chemistry or maths/physics are required (at least two, including biology).
