What it is
The first three semesters lay a mathematical base, and all students share core courses through semester four: programming in C, C++, Java and C#/.NET, discrete mathematics, algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, networks, software engineering, AI, numerical methods, embedded systems and computer graphics. From semester five you choose electives with theoretical and practical emphasis, and the seventh semester is largely given over to team projects and the thesis. Teaching combines lectures, seminars, programming laboratories, team projects and individual thesis work. Graduates can work on IT projects, system verification, and the administration of medium-scale information systems and networks.
