Undergraduate Programme in International Relations
Bachelor's degree (licencjat) · 3 yrs
University of Warsaw · Poland
Designing, running and evaluating social and public policy, with law, economics, history and culture alongside; students can apply for a dual degree with Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
2 February 2027
A genuine 2027 date, and one of the few in Poland. Senate resolution 278 of 20 May 2026, which governs 2027/28 admissions, states: "Postępowanie rekrutacyjne rozpoczyna się nie wcześniej niż 2 lutego 2027 r. i trwa nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." It is an outer bound on the whole university, not the opening of any particular round; the round dates come later, in a Rector's ordinance. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 amends only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, so these dates are unchanged.

Some Polish deadlines fall after this — Poznan Medical closes on 20 July. Where one closes earlier, ask the university how it takes IB results that arrive later.
Source30 September 2027
The closing half of the same sentence in Senate resolution 278: admissions last "nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." Like the 2 February opening bound, it is an outer limit on the whole university, not the closing date of any round. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 changes only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, not this date. The same day is the deadline for asking a recruitment committee to correct your result after a successful matura appeal.

More than twenty courses over six semesters move from the concepts and theories of social and public policy to the design, implementation and evaluation of policies, drawing on law, economics, history and culture. Teaching includes open lectures by visiting professors from around the world, a diploma seminar for the bachelor's thesis, and encouragement to study abroad through Erasmus+. A dual diploma with Hong Kong Polytechnic University adds a BA (Honours) in Social Policy and Social Entrepreneurship. Graduates work in policy analysis, public administration, community development, education and health, in the public and private sectors, NGOs and international organisations.
IB grades convert to percentages (7 = 100%, 6 = 90%, 5 = 75%, 4 = 60%), HL as extended and SL as basic level, weighted per degree; the Diploma proves B2 English if you were taught and examined in English.
Last admitted in 2025: 70.9 / 77.75 / 52.5 / 54.2 (rounds 1–4).
A past result, not a prediction.
