What it is

Subjects include software development with programming languages and techniques, algorithms and data structures, computer networks, databases and data warehouses, mobile, distributed and web systems, multimedia and intelligent IT systems, IT project management, and foundations in physics and mathematics with some management and social communication. The English-taught Computer Engineering specialisation focuses on analysing and modelling complex IT systems, advanced databases and expert systems, parallel and distributed processing and AI-based methods.

  • Physics (SL or HL)Scored as the extra subject (HL x2.5); the programme page also accepts Computer Science

IB grades become an admission index: Maths plus one extra subject (HL counts 2.5 times SL) and 0.1 of English. The Diploma covers B2 English. Every foreign candidate sits an online maths-and-logic exam.
