What it is
The first years give a solid grounding in basic sciences, and from the third year you build practical experience, treating patients under supervision at the University Dental Center on the Banacha Campus. Teaching mixes lectures, seminars and practical classes, with four weeks of summer practical training after each year, which can be done at recognised institutions in your home country. The degree conforms to EU standards, and graduates can practise or continue at the university as scientists or teachers, with specialisations such as paediatric and conservative dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

- Biology HLIf missing, WUM's own Biology exam (pass at 30%) can stand in.
- Chemistry HLIf missing, WUM's own Chemistry exam (pass at 30%) can stand in.
- Any IB Maths or PhysicsSL counts with a multiplier: Physics 0.6, Maths AA 0.6, Maths AI 0.5; HL counts in full.

Every IB applicant at Medical University of Warsaw
IB holders sit WUM's online competency test (80% of the ranking); IB Biology and Chemistry at HL plus Physics or Maths make up the other 20%. The IB Diploma counts as proof of English.
