The degree builds a broad understanding of environmental protection with an emphasis on managing natural resources, through earth sciences, environmental chemistry, remediation of contamination, and software for processing environmental data. The first two years include seminars and field workshops, practical documentation work such as spatial and management plans and environmental impact studies, and laboratory and field assessment. In the third year you choose electives to strengthen your focus. Graduates can prepare management plans for soil and water, assess pollution and propose climate mitigation measures, or continue to a master's degree.
CZU's own recognition page says IB Diploma holders need no evaluation, so no extra fee. It asks for no IB points or subjects: each faculty admits on a Scio GAP test or an interview.
