Deadlines
-
1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027*
Masaryk University, Faculty of Education - applications, September intakeHard deadlineDetails
The earliest of Masaryk's faculty windows to open, and the first Czech deadline of the cycle. Published as "Bachelor's programme: 1 October-31 March". Masaryk publishes this window with a day and a month but no year at all, and no academic-year heading anywhere on the page, so the year here is projected onto the September 2027 intake. Where the page's summary table and its per-faculty sections disagree, go by the faculty section, which gives the opening dates the table leaves out.

Masaryk University, Faculty of Social Studies - applications, September intakeHard deadlineDetails
Published as "September intake: 1 November-15 May", the same window for bachelor's and follow-up master's. A February intake also exists, running 1 July to 31 October.

Masaryk University, Faculty of Informatics - applications, September intakeMasaryk University, Faculty of Economics and Administration - applications, September intakeHard deadlineDetails
Published as "September intake: 15 December-30 April". A February intake also exists, closing 30 October - note that Informatics prints 30 October where Economics and Social Studies print 31, and the page repeats it, so it is not a one-line typo.

What it is
Mathematical thinking is the base here: five mathematics courses and probability and statistics sit beside programming in Python, databases, object-oriented languages and applied analytics such as machine learning, data visualisation, image processing, natural language processing, network science, big data and cybersecurity. The degree ends with a capstone project carried out as a full-time internship at an industrial partner. Electives in the last two semesters let you lean toward topics such as cloud technology or neural networks. Graduates go into research and development, modelling and data analysis, or on to master's study in mathematics, statistics or data science.
What you need
- Entry Trial Test of maths and logic problems (75 of 100 to pass); English B2 recommended.
