What it is
You study anatomy, physiology, histology and embryology, chemistry, biochemistry and biophysics, then preclinical and clinical subjects including preventive dentistry, cariology, prosthetics, dental radiology, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, operative dentistry and oral surgery, with management, ethics, legislation and social aspects of dentistry. Teaching is entirely in English with practical training throughout, and study abroad is possible at partner universities. State final exams cover prosthodontics and orthodontics, oral surgery, and operative dentistry. Graduates enter dental practice or go on to a PhD.

- Entrance test in biology, chemistry and physics or maths; English test unless your schooling was in English. No grade minimum.

UP's guide for foreign applicants treats the IB Diploma as a Czech school-leaving certificate: send a certified copy, with no recognition fee. Each faculty runs its own selection.
How places are decided
- The same written test as medicine, online or in Olomouc, once a year. EU citizens can also sit the late-August dates. About 20 places. 2026 criteria; 2027 not yet published.
