What it is
After a first year of mathematics, physics, programming and chemistry, you study fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, materials, thermal engineering and flight mechanics, then advanced design and control. In the last years you specialise in aerospace vehicles (aircraft design, aeroelasticity, flight mechanics) or aerospace propulsion (turbomachinery, combustion, rocket motors). Classes are small and practical, with laboratory work, optional professional internships and a bachelor thesis. Graduates work in the design, manufacture, certification and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft, and in air navigation systems.
What you need
- IB via UNEDasiss: your IB becomes a grade out of 10, and two weighted subjects (IB grades on the credential or PCE tests) add up to 4. Prove B2 English during year 1.
