Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Economics
Dual Bachelor's degree · 5½ yrs · Getafe
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid · Spain
Rigorous analysis of economic problems and of the likely effects of public and private policies, grounded in evidence and economic models.
The first two years build the foundations in mathematics, statistics, microeconomics and macroeconomics, and the last two give you wide freedom in electives, including three optional intensification paths: microeconomics, macroeconomics, or quantitative techniques and applied economics. External internships are available through the university's company network, a bachelor thesis is required, and teaching is offered in both Spanish and English with exchanges through Erasmus. Faculty research feeds into the teaching. Graduates work in economic consulting, financial analysis, risk assessment, public administration and international organisations.
IB via UNEDasiss: your IB becomes a grade out of 10, and two weighted subjects (IB grades on the credential or PCE tests) add up to 4. Prove B2 English during year 1.
