What it is
Two legal traditions are studied in one degree: English common law in the first two years in London, then Spanish law in the last two in Barcelona, with two transition modules in Spanish private and criminal law before the main courses. You learn to analyse conflicts, argue and negotiate, interpret sources of law in both systems, and compare how the two work, using legal language in English and in Spanish or Catalan. External internships can be arranged in the third and fourth years in Barcelona. Graduates can follow careers such as lawyer, solicitor, judge, notary, diplomat, international civil servant, legal consultant or NGO adviser, though many of these need further training and national exams.
What you need
- Apply through UCAS by 13 January 2027, 18:00 UK time, with the LNAT law test; King's IB entry requirements apply.
