What it is
You study applied mathematics (calculus, linear algebra, statistics, numerical methods), engineering fundamentals such as fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and mechanics of materials, and computing, including programming, algorithms and finite element methods. The distinctive angle is numerical simulation and programming applied to mechanical and civil problems. You solve real engineering challenges in team projects, use industrial engineering software and finish with a thesis; a semester abroad or summer courses at partner universities are possible. Master's options include mechanical engineering, civil engineering, geoengineering and advanced energy solutions, leading to work as structural, energy or naval engineers.
What you need
- Maths AA (SL or HL) or AI HLminimum 6
