What it is

You study mathematics, chemistry, physics and renewable energy together with separation technologies and process development, covering chemical reactions, mixing and flows with applications in biorefineries, water treatment and food processing. Teaching combines extensive laboratory work, lectures, company visits and group projects, and ends with a bachelor's thesis. Process design, simulation, AI and safety are part of the toolkit, with a focus on sustainable production and the circular economy. Graduates work as process designers, environmental specialists or development engineers, or continue to master's programmes in energy transition, food processing or water technology.
