Published as "the 21st of August the year of application", with no year; this site assumes the 2027 intake. Semmelweis lets you apply and sit the entrance exam while still in your final year - "Those who have not yet received this certificate can also submit their application and take the entrance examination" - but "The final deadline for uploading the Matriculation Certificate is the 21st of August." Your IB Diploma is issued in early July, so the gap is about six weeks; the risk is not the date but forgetting the step exists.

What it is
Health-science foundations such as anatomy, physiology and preventive medicine sit beside leisure and tourism studies, health tourism products and medical tourism. Later modules cover health destination development, experience and service design, sales and marketing in health tourism, spa management and event management, along with quality management, project management and online communication. Small-group teaching with mentor support leads to a final semester of field practice and the thesis. Graduates work with health service providers, tour operators, health resorts, sanatoria, private healthcare providers, spas and thermal baths.
What you need
- No IB-specific rule: entry is Semmelweis's own entrance exam and interview (oral exam for health BSc). Final-year students can apply and upload the IB certificate by August.
