What it is
You start with anatomy and physiology and move on to internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and intensive care, with further courses in psychological care, nursing research, nursing management and counselling. Lectures and demonstration classes in the classroom are combined with clinical practice that begins after the first year, and the last two semesters are mainly field practice in clinics. The degree is equivalent to nursing degrees from other EU countries.

Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at University of Szeged
IB Diploma can exempt you from the entrance exam: grade 5 in two HL sciences for medicine and dentistry, 4 for pharmacy, nursing, physio; Maths SL 4 or HL 3 for business. Predicted grades give conditional offers.
How places are decided
- Applying to Nurse only, the entrance exam covers just English. IB Diploma with 4 in two of biology, chemistry, physics, maths is exempt; a motivational interview may follow.
