University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest - rolling application windowRollingDetails
Published as a standing rule with no year: "Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from 1st January until 30th June (in cases of vacancies later)"; this site assumes the 2027 intake. Decisions are made on a rolling basis through the window, so an early application is a better one. Entrance examinations are arranged online between March and July, with "further rounds of entrance examinations organized in August depending on the number of vacancies" - a real second chance, but one that depends on other people turning places down. An applicant still in the final year of school may apply, but the school leaving certificate must be presented before enrolment.

What it is
The master's trains zoological researchers, and in its last two years you carry out individual research projects and build scientific communication skills. A tutorial system helps you find a thesis topic, including at research laboratories abroad. Programmes of this kind typically cover animal biology, evolution, ecology, physiology and the research methods and statistics used to study wild and captive species. Graduates go on to doctoral studies, research institutions, businesses that need zoological expertise, public administration or nature conservation.
What you need
- No IB rule is published: a written exam in biology, chemistry and English, then a 20-30 minute oral interview, decide.
Requirements in full
