What it is
The degree explains how the financial system fits together, from capital markets and financial intermediaries to contracts and instruments, and it trains you to measure risk with quantitative methods. Typical coursework in a finance bachelor of this kind covers accounting, corporate finance, asset pricing, economics, statistics and mathematics, and the page stresses a data-driven approach to financial decisions. Classes use business cases, group projects and a coding course, and the programme offers international exchange options. Graduates move into financial careers with the help of the university's employer links, or continue to a master's in finance.
What you need
- Full IB Diploma, 24+ points with 12 at HL, TOK, EE and CAS passed; no subjects required. An IB in English meets the English rule. Predicted grades are not used.
