What it is
You learn the full design process for products, services and interactive systems that mix digital and physical parts, starting from user needs, how people interact, usability and accessibility. The curriculum draws on design, humanities, technology and representation, with a focus on interactive artefacts, digital interfaces and IoT systems. Lectures are combined with design studios and workshops, where you practise programming, prototyping and representation by doing. The degree is taught in English on the Lecco campus. Graduates work as interaction designers, UX and UI designers or information architects in design studios, technology companies and agencies, or continue to Politecnico's master's in Digital and Interaction Design.

The IB Diploma counts if you entered the IB after promotion to your penultimate school year. A diploma taught in English meets the English rule; every degree ranks you on an entrance test.
