What it is
A newly designed degree that trains engineers to design, manage and maintain civil structures and infrastructure such as bridges, dams, roads, railways and water systems, while adding environmental topics: circular-economy principles for natural resources and energy, and the design and upkeep of plants that treat gaseous, liquid and solid industrial waste. Typical first-year courses in civil engineering include calculus, physics, chemistry and computing, followed by mechanics of structures, hydraulics, geotechnics and construction. Graduates work in engineering firms, public bodies and construction on infrastructure and environmental projects, or continue to a master's.
What you need
- TIL-I test (in English or Italian) or SAT with 650+ in each section.
