What it is
The degree prepares you to manage complex digital systems and to weigh alternative IT solutions, working alongside other engineers and disciplines. Courses are taught by professors who are active in research with Italian and international academic and industrial partners, so theory is tied to examples from practice. Typical first-year subjects in computer engineering include calculus, physics, programming, computer architecture and electronics, followed by algorithms, databases, operating systems, networks and software engineering. Graduates usually go into software, systems and IT roles in companies and public bodies, or continue to a master's in computer engineering or related fields.
What you need
- TIL-I test (in English or Italian) or SAT with 650+ in each section. Places are shared with the Italian track (659 in all, 574 for EU students).

How places are decided
- TIL-I score of 60/100 guarantees your first choice; from 30/100 or a valid SAT you enter the merit ranking. 2026 criteria; 2027 not yet published.
