    Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is

The first years build calculus, linear algebra, simulation and statistics, and you learn to program in MATLAB, Python and AIMMS to turn real-world problems into mathematical models. Much of the work is project-based, often for outside companies, and AI is used as a tool in solving them. Two internships are part of the degree, with companies in the Brainport Eindhoven region, and you study on the Eindhoven University of Technology campus. In year three you can specialise in data science. Graduates work as mathematicians in organisations of many kinds or move on to a master's.

Every IB applicant at Fontys

The IB Diploma is named as giving access. Many programmes also want satisfactory maths grades, engineering also physics or chemistry, with no IB grade set. An IB Diploma usually exempts you from an English test.
