What it is
You begin with the basics of communication theory and its use, branding and media strategy, intercultural communication, research methods, presentation skills and creative writing, and specialise in later years. Classes are interactive, and you work in teams on real projects and campaigns for clients while building collaboration, leadership and feedback skills. An internship and a semester abroad at one of Fontys' partner universities are part of the experience, in a multicultural classroom on the Eindhoven campus. Graduates become communication advisors, content managers, PR specialists, brand managers or marketing consultants, and many continue to a master's.

- No subjects required beyond the IB Diploma.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at Fontys
The IB Diploma is named as giving access. Many programmes also want satisfactory maths grades, engineering also physics or chemistry, with no IB grade set. An IB Diploma usually exempts you from an English test.
How places are decided
- Not selective: meet the requirements and you are admitted. Apply in Studielink by 1 May 2027; a study choice check talk is optional.
