Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one lays foundations in programming, electronics, computer architecture, networking, operating systems and mathematics, and year two adds network design and security, distributed systems, and machine learning and AI applications. Teaching is based on practical projects with fellow students on real-world problems, in teams that mirror professional settings. In year three you choose a focus and take a minor at Hanze or elsewhere, including abroad, and year four includes an internship at a national or international company. Graduates work as embedded or software engineers, IoT developers, AI engineers, cybersecurity specialists or data engineers, or continue to a master such as Smart Systems Engineering.
What you need
- The IB Diploma meets the HAVO-level entry for 4-year programmes and counts as VWO-level for the 3-year ones. It also exempts you from the English test.
