Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Your main instrument or voice stays central, supported by theory classes, practical training, projects, an introduction to teaching your own instrument and entrepreneurial skills. Playing in an ensemble or orchestra is a core part of the curriculum, with masterclasses and workshops led by international musicians. Placements are arranged with partners such as the North Netherlands Orchestra and music schools, and a biennial symphony orchestra project is run with HFK Bremen. Electives follow your interests, and exchange is possible in later years. Graduates perform as ensemble musicians, orchestral players or soloists, combine performing with teaching, or continue to the Master of Music in Classical Music.
What you need
- Prince Claus Conservatoire; taught in Dutch and English. Audition (video pre-selection for violin, voice, piano); apply by 1 March in 2026, 2027 date not yet published.
