Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
You study organic, physical and biochemistry alongside the mathematical and physical concepts behind molecular processes. Lectures are combined with thorough practical training: through experiments you study chemical reactions and use specialised techniques that rely on lasers and magnetic fields to study materials. With more than 25 chemistry research groups working on sustainability, drug development, data storage and the origin of life, you can choose the direction in which to specialise. Graduates work in industrial or university research, in education with a teaching qualification, or in consulting and management, or continue to related master programmes such as Molecular Life Sciences.
