Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The first year covers calculus, linear algebra, mechanics and relativity, electricity and magnetism, mathematical physics, computational methods, two physics laboratory courses and a course on the physics of modern technology. The programme stays deliberately broad, so you can postpone specialising until year two, and it is tied to research institutes for advanced materials, particle physics, energy and sustainability, and astronomy. An optional exchange semester abroad is possible, and the study association arranges company visits. Graduates work as consultants, researchers, technical innovators and analysts in industry, research institutes such as TNO, or banking and management consulting, or continue to a master in Applied Physics or Nanoscience.

The IB Diploma counts as Dutch VWO; no minimum points. Strictest subjects: Maths AA HL and Physics HL (Physics, Astronomy, Applied Physics). An IB taught in English waives the English test.
How places are decided
- Not selective: meet the requirements and you are admitted. Apply in Studielink by 1 May 2027; no matching needed if you apply by then.
